Tv Scheduling

In lesson we were told about Tv scheduling and what it is all about. This included learning about pre-echo, inheritance and hammocking


Brainstorming

In lesson we were asked to come up with as many possible ideas for what we could make a documentary about. These varied from subjects such as school to topics such as tables. We were the tolf to think about which ones we thought would be the best option to make a documentary about.

Preliminary Task- Interview

For our Preliminary task we were asked to film and edit our own interview. We got given a set of questions to ask about mobile phones and we had to go off find a person to interview, record the person along with the cutaways and edit it.

Codes and Conventions of a Documentary

In lesson we were told to look at the codes and conventions of a documentary.I looked at aspects such as interviews, archive material, editing, mise-en-scene, graphics and camera work. This information was collected and I have presented it in a video.

School For Stars Documentary Analysis

In lesson we were told to pick and create an analysis of a documentary. I chose to do one named `School For Stars`. I watched the documentary and focussed on certain aspects featured such as the type of documentary it is, the themes involved, the narrative structure, the camera work used, the mise-en-scene featured, the sounds heard, the editing, archive footage put in and the graphics used in the doumentary. I created a Prezi for the analysis.
